A New Look for CCS

One of the biggest projects currently underway is a major redesign of the CCS platform. We’re not rebuilding CCS simply to make it look different. We’re taking everything we’ve learned from years of clubs using the system and applying it to a cleaner, more modern experience.

The familiar CCS workflows will remain, so existing users won’t suddenly have to relearn how to run their club. Instead, the redesign focuses on making information easier to understand and everyday tasks easier to complete.

Among the changes you’ll begin seeing are:

  • Cleaner and more consistent screens
  • Improved navigation
  • Better use of space and information
  • Clearer dashboards
  • More visual reporting
  • Graphs that make important club data easier to understand at a glance
  • A better experience across different screen sizes

The redesign will be introduced gradually throughout the quarter, rather than changing everything overnight. That gives clubs time to adapt while allowing us to continue gathering feedback as the new experience develops.

Turning Numbers Into Information You Can Actually Use

Clubs generate a lot of data. Revenue, member activity, stock, dispenses, products, payments and dozens of other indicators are already available within CCS. But having data and understanding it quickly are two different things.

That’s why the new CCS experience will place greater emphasis on visual information. Rather than relying solely on tables and individual figures, we’re introducing more graphs and dashboard-style reporting to help clubs understand what’s happening without having to analyse rows of numbers.

The objective is simple:

See what’s happening. Understand it faster. Make better decisions.

SmartCore and SmartBud AI Are Now Live

September also marked the launch of the latest versions of SmartCore and SmartBud AI. These tools were rebuilt following feedback from clubs and our own experience of how they were being used in practice. The biggest lesson? Keep it simple.

SmartCore helps create cleaner, more consistent product information, while SmartBud AI uses that information to provide smarter recommendations and insights.

The new versions are more closely integrated into the normal CCS experience, reducing unnecessary steps and making the technology easier for staff to use. And importantly, we’re already seeing encouraging early results.

During beta testing, participating clubs saw increases in revenue, member activity, quantity dispensed and product diversity, while also reducing time spent on repetitive product-management work.

We’ll continue monitoring those results as usage grows.

Floryx Is Coming

We’re also preparing the introduction of Floryx, our new mobile experience for club members. One of the first areas we’re tackling is something that should be much simpler than it often is today: connecting a member’s digital profile with their club.

Floryx will introduce a cleaner mobile experience designed to work alongside participating clubs and CCS. The first version will focus on the essentials, with further functionality developing over time. We’ll share more as we get closer to release.

Making CCS Accessible to Smaller Clubs

Another initiative we’re beginning to introduce is Free CCS. Over the years, we’ve spoken with smaller and newly established clubs that would benefit from professional management software but aren’t yet at a size where a full CCS account necessarily makes sense. We’re now testing a controlled Free CCS programme designed to give eligible smaller clubs access to the core CCS experience while they’re growing. As those clubs develop and their usage increases, they can naturally move into the standard CCS model.

We’ll be monitoring the programme carefully and using feedback from participating clubs to determine how it develops.

Improvements Behind the Scenes Too

Not every CCS improvement needs a major announcement. A significant amount of our development work happens quietly in the background.

During the past month we’ve continued improving internal monitoring, reporting and technical processes designed to make CCS more reliable and help our team identify issues faster. We’ve also been introducing better development and testing processes, including AI-assisted development tools that allow our team to build and iterate more quickly while maintaining human testing and production controls.

For customers, the objective isn’t to notice the technology behind these improvements. It’s simply to experience a platform that keeps getting better.

Built Around Real Clubs

There’s a common thread running through all of these developments. We’re simplifying. Better design shouldn’t mean more buttons. AI shouldn’t mean more complexity. More data shouldn’t mean more spreadsheets. And new technology shouldn’t require clubs to completely change the way they work.

Our job is to make the technology fit around the club. That’s why feedback from CCS users continues to influence what we build, what we change and what we simplify.

What’s Next?

The remainder of 2026 will see some of the most visible changes to CCS in recent years. The redesigned interface will continue rolling out. Reporting will become increasingly visual.

SmartCore and SmartBud AI will continue learning and improving.

Floryx will introduce a new mobile experience for members.

And Free CCS will help us explore how we can support smaller clubs from an earlier stage of their development.

Some changes will be immediately noticeable, others will happen quietly in the background. But they all serve the same objective:

Making cannabis club management simpler, smarter and more useful.

And, as always, we’ll keep listening.
